With only 40 mana total, choosing equipment for Vex becomes extremely important. So, Green Charm is the first priority item to help Vex increase damage and speed up skills. Because Vex's damage is magic, Jewel Gloves is a good choice to increase the crit rate from the life-killing Black Shadow skill.

The mascot that helped Vex recover health, the item to be selected is Witch Hat to increase a large amount of magic damage.

Team Reviews

The Void Traveler is a new Tribe that appeared in TFT 8.5! The Void Traveler opens a rift between the dimensions and summons his ally Zac, who becomes stronger with the Void Traveler's star level. Zac will receive the last listed clan of the nearest Void Traveler.

Vex used to be a very useful tank in season 6 of DTCL, but in season 8.5, she no longer holds that role. Instead, Vex has become a important key in the Mascot squad.

Pyke is a very strong damage dealer in the early game and can be combined with Jhin to create massive total damage. Meanwhile, Vex is often used to summon an additional tank champion like Zac for the Void Traveler squad. However, since I'm building a Mascot squad, Vex would be a good mid-game pick, especially once you've upgraded her to 3 stars. And we will use Jhin to help Dame.

When to Build Vex Carry?

If you find multiple copies of Vex or you get any of the Vex hero upgrade cores. Or maybe you get quite a few goddess tear shards early in the game.

How to play?

This lineup uses Reroll strategy to be able to successfully upgrade Vex 3 stars. Accumulate 50 gold and perform Reroll at level 7 to optimize the formation and reach the best power threshold.

Early game stage

Play around the mascot, losing streak help actively in the accumulation of gold. Don't level up early and keep losing. Let Jinx keep Vex's stuff and Sylas keep Garen's Tanks.

Mid game

Search for mascots to activate milestone 4 Mascot. Let's focus on Vex, get to level 6 at stage 3-2. Because at level 6 you can't have Jhin to put Pyke on the field to activate the Void Traveler, so using Vi and Fiora to keep health is the best. Your squad will be able to increase the protection system and the Bull, helping you to defy your health to 7 safely.

When it's 7 with 50 gold. Let's proceed Roll Vex cash out 3 stars and capture pieces like Garen, Jhin, Shen, Pyke to complete the standard form.

Late game stage

Because this formation uses strategy Reroll at level 7 so you will be very difficult to get Nunu round cards. Temporarily using Malphite instead of Nunu is also a fairly stable choice. When you get Nunu you can replace Malphite.

An important point that you should remember is to always place Zac near Vex to get more Mascot milestones.
