According to Mortdog, some hero upgrades in Set of 8 TFT inappropriate after the hero core Reroll modification made through Patch 13.3. Players still believe that Stages 3-2 and 4-2 are not adjusted uniformly enough.

Fixed issue in Patch 13.4 and Patch 13.5 will add a new Hero Upgrade distribution chart based on current Clans/Types in Stages 3-2 and 4-2.

• No Clan/Activation System: Both 3 core positions are all random.
• 1 Tribe/Activation System: 2 core positions is random.
• 2 Tribe/Activation System: 1 core positions is random.
• 3 Tribe/Activation System: 0 core positions random.

The team is working on the distribution hero core value next to the new Tribe/Type activation rate. Hero upgrade cores costing 3 gold will appear less frequently in stages 2-1 and 4-2. And Phase 2-1 Hero Upgrade Core will continue to be completely random. Also, according to Mortdog, hero upgrades of 3-2 and 4-2 "will never have the same Tier" starting at TFT Set 8.5 and continuing through update 13.6!

In the update DTCL 13.5, several improvements were made to the original bonus method introduced in Update 9.18. After the new adjustments, all players in a Lobby will receive same amount of equipment. Each Lobby's base equipment allocation will be rotated to ensure that no user has one or two less gear than other players.

These calculations will also apply to bonus ball. Therefore, the one with one or two less equipment than the rest of the Lobby, can compensate for the distance through the bonus orb. In addition, each participant will receive roughly the same benefit from their bonus orbs in the same Lobby.

All tweaks made by Update 13.5 are now live on the PBE and will be maintained until TFT Set 8.5 Mid-Set is updated.
