| Overview of the combat system

Tower of Fantasy's combat system is real-time and action-based. Each character has a special weapon and element, but the player can Freely customize and switch weapons equipped to experiment with different combos and effects against each other.

| Twelve Basic Weapons

There are twelve types of weapons in Tower of Fantasy and each weapon has its own characteristics. You can 3 . equipment weapon type at the same time and switch between them while exploring the open world and engaging in combat.

| Weapons divided into 3 different rarity

Weapons are divided into levels in Tower of Fantasy according to their rarity. These levels are R, SR , and SSR or Rare, Super rare and especially super rare. SR and SSR weapons can be obtained through gacha spinning.

| Elemental effect deals extra Damage

Weapons can have elemental effects that increase the damage of your attacks when they are fully charged. Each element also has a unique effects can give you an edge against your enemies in battle. Use this to your advantage and see which element works best for you.

Element Fully charged weapon effect
Ice Freeze target for 2 seconds and freeze it for 6 seconds. Breaking the ice shell deals 151% more ATK damage. Frostbitten target's weapon ratio is reduced by 50%.
Fire Shoot the target in 8 seconds, dealing 58% continuous attack damage every second. Active targets gain 50% healing.
Lighting Will paralyze target for 1 second and electrify them for 6 seconds, negating all effects and dealing 106% ATK damage.
Physical After fully charged, will deal 100% ATK and make the target pain for 7 seconds, take 20% more damage.

 

| Weapon types and stacking effects

In addition to the element of the weapon, each weapon has a defined class its role in combat. Equipment 2 weapon and class will activate the Resonance Effect.

| Normal Attack

Normal Attack is the normal attack in Tower of Fantasy is done by simply touching the attack button. Consecutive Normal Attacks make up a Standard Combo, and are a quick way to deal damage. The downside is that Basic Strike doesn't have much of a powerful knockdown.

| Charged Attack

Charged Attack is the charge attack is done by holding down the attack button. This ability deals more damage and knockback than Basic Attack, but is much slower and consumes a small amount of stamina. Find loopholes before performing a Charged Attack.

Each weapon also has different attacks when charged. Bows can target farther when charged, while hammers and swords can deal a large AoE range around your character.

| Aerial Attack

Aerial Attack is aerial attack. Most weapons like swords and bows can be used even in mid-air. The swords can be used with combos that knock enemies on the ground.

Holding down the attack button using a bow while jumping allows you to aim and release an arrow mid-air.

| Dash Attack

Dashing then fast charging an attack will provide an additional attack from each weapon. This is perfect for dealing quick damage while avoiding enemy attacks.

| Dodge Attack

Dodge Attack is dodge attack. Dodging before a monster attacks you will activate Phantom Time, allowing you to accumulate your weapons. Switching weapons will trigger a combo.
