Umi was recently announced as part of update 2.3 of Tower of Fantasy China as a new simulacra and weapon. Umi banner will be released on 1 date of 11 year of 2022.

Going with the CN chain, Umi could be released next year for a Global version. However, based on how Global Simulacrum is being released under a other order So far, it's anyone's guess when she'll make her debut.

| Weapon called Whip Grevious

Umi will be the first simulacra out of dung roi make weapons. This goes well with her overall look as a mage or a ninjutsu master.

The only information we have confirmed so far is the weapon she will use Physics element.

| Evil Persona and plot teaser

At the end of the Update 2.3 trailer, Umi is shown to have been possessed by an unknown entity. After that, she acted cold and also implied that she was plotting something against Lin.

This plot will most likely continue in the later chapters of The main task in the game.

While we have yet to confirm more information about Umi and her global release, she will most likely get through. Limited Gacha Banner will require the Red Nucleus to Roll her.

For now, we recommend saving some Red Nucleus give her if you want to use the first whip as a weapon in Tower of Fantasy.
