How to revive character

| How to revive characters in combat

The only way to revive allies in battle is through character's ability. So far, only 5-star characters have the ability to revive someone and the only way to get them is through the gacha spin system!

Bailu's genius can revive characters

Bailu, a 5-star Lei character, is the only one who can revive others thanks to his Gifted Talent. When an ally receives a finishing blow, they gain revived by Bailu if she is not disabled. It's worth knowing that she can revive others whether they are energized or not.

Note that Soul 0 Bailu can only respawn once per battle. If you have her in Soul 6, then she can revive allies twice!

Gepard's genius is self-revival

| How to Revive Characters Outside of Combat

Standing near a space anchor

The most common way to revive a character when not in combat is standing near the space anchor. Unless turned off, standing next to a space anchor will automatically restore your party's HP. Alternatively, you can also set a HP Recovery Value that allows you to control the amount of health recovered!

Use items

Items Function
Simple First Aid Machine
Heal a defeated ally with 5% Their max HP.
Life Reincarnation Machine
Heal down allies with 10% Their max HP.
Hot Goat Milk
Heal down allies with 10% Their max HP.
Rock-grilled Wildfire
Heal an ally killed with 30% Their max HP.

The consumables in the table above can be used to revive a character defeated in battle. The best time to use these items is when you are far from the nearest space anchor and you don't want to go back.

| How to Revive Characters in a Simulated Universe

The Simulation Universe is an imitation of the world of Honkai: Star Rail. It's a combat challenge. Where your progress will reset when your team is destroyed.

Use the revival machine

One way to revive characters in the Simulation Universe is to use Revival Equipment in the Rest area. Note that you need to use Cosmic Shards when respawning the character!

Revival Equipment can be unlocked after unlocking some parts in Skill Tree. To level up the Skill Tree, you need Skill Points that you earn after running the Simulation Universe.

Get the Strange Fruit

Curios are strange objects in the Simulated Universe that provide the player with various effects and can be obtained during the conquest of the Simulated Universe.

Weird fruit is the only Curio to date that can revive characters in the Simulated Universe. Unless you really need to respawn a lot of characters, you're better off getting Curios which is useful in battle.
