What is a simulated universe?

| Random challenge game mode

The simulated universe is a sequence of 6 challenging levels from 6 Worlds there are Randomly generated enemy groups for you to beat, using any of your currently built teams.

Try and beat all the worlds to get weekly valuable rewards, help you upgrade your character in Honkai: Star Rail.

How to unlock Simulated Universe

| Defeat the doomsday monster in the opening chapter

To unlock the Simulation Universe, you need to defeat the Doomsday Monster in Prologue: Blue Flame Quest. Once completed, you will be unlocked Simulation Universe.

note: After you unlock the Simulated Universe through the mission, additional World stages can be unlocked by completing the Trailblaze Quest and continuing the main story.

How does a simulated universe work?

| Explore the simulation of the world

The Simulated Universe is a simulation of the world of Honkai: Star Rail, where you can test your character's mettle and learn more about the story behind the Aeons that govern each Destiny in a controlled manner.

The Aeons are creatures like God represents a Destiny or character class in Honkai: Star Rail. Not all Aeons have a Destiny that the characters can go in the game. This will likely be explored in a future update!

| Use Buff Buff

Blessing is the only type of buff in the Simulated Universe. Blessings from the Aeons can increase team performance yours or apply an effect on an enemy. Each Blessing will fall into an Aeon-specific Destiny that you must choose.

After defeating the enemy, you can choose a Blessing from 1 Star to 5 Star depending on how difficult the challenge is for you. You can also level up Blessings when you meet Herta in the rest area!

| Choose the next area to conquer

While in the World or level, you'll sometimes come across split rooms that offer branching progression lines. You can take the room with the swords on it to defeat more enemies, or follow the question mark route for brave warriors against the unknown!

| Use Curios for unique effects

Curios is an item that can help your team increased strength and even a discount on the purchase of Blessings during your Simulation Universe run. However, please note that these items also have their own conditions of use.

Some will need a specific activator to work, while others will act as consumables with limited uses!

| Download a character for your team

When you reach the rest of the world regions or rooms, you will be given the option Download Characters. This downloaded character can be used to edit your team, replacing one of your team members to suit the next rounds of the challenge level.

In addition to character downloads, these resting areas will also feature destructible items to restore your Tech Points and health.

| Ability Tree Level Up

If you find this stage difficult, you can use Ability Points to level up the Ability Tree. This Simulation Universe's unique game mechanic unlocks powerful summoner spells that exist in all stages of the Simulated Universe you play!

| Get Location Accessories

When you get to the 3rd World of the Simulated Universe, you will start to be able to get the type Second Relic called Face Accessories. The facet accessory increases your character's stats and is the only Relic that can increase your character's elemental damage.

You can get Orb of Position in the Integration Reward using 1 Connector or 40 Mining Powers.
