Exploration Quest

The mining quest is main plot quest in Honkai: Star Rail and is the main method to upgrade your Mining Level as it always guarantees you Mining EXP upon completion.

Additionally, these quests are automatically unlocked and given to you at the start of the story, and you'll continue to receive them throughout the gameplay.

Completing these will not only reward you with Exploration EXP, but will also help you progress further in the game's main storyline, which also opens up some other great ways to earn EXP like Daily Quests, Universe simulation.

Expedition Quest

Expedition quests are sidequests that you can get from the NPC/Character different in the game. These Quests will reward you with Mining EXP upon completion but in a smaller amount than the Main Quest.

Keep an eye out for characters who have Icon Exploration quests are overhead, or you can check your map to see locations where you can get these quests.

| Complete training every day

The Daily Training Quest is a useful way to get Mining EXP. These quests range from upgrading the Cone of Light to performing combat maneuvers such as using a Technique or attacking an enemy with its Weaknesses a certain number of times during battle.

They are fine too update everyday, so be sure to check back every day to complete any new quests posted!

| Complete action summary

You can get 100 Mining EXP each time you complete the Action Summary quest. These are short quests that are easy to do and will earn you some EXP quickly.

| Artificial calyx

Use your Unlocking Power at Artificial calyx will give you Exploiting EXP. These are battles that you can do over and over again, as long as you still have enough Unlocking Power.

| Simulation universe

The Simulation Universe is a combat experiment where you will encounter different battle scenarios that you can participate in to gain EXP mining into at the end of each test.

| Open treasure chest

Treasure chests may not be the best method on our list because it provides little Exploration EXP best. But you will encounter a large number of them as you go through the areas. So you can open them while doing other tasks.

Every time you increase your Mining Level by one, you can visit Pom pom in the Open Car to redeem various rewards.

| Discovery Magazine event rewards

After reaching Level 5, you can get rewards from Travel Chronicles after every 10 Levels. These rewards are usually Star Tickets and at later levels Starlight Gems.

| Unlock character ascension

By upgrading your Mining Level, level limit of each character Yours also increases.
