How to Withdraw Honkai: Star Rail

| Withdraw from the ongoing battle

To retreat from an ongoing battle is very simple. You can press the pause button at the top right of the screen.

Then choose "Withdraw" to escape a battle. Upon exiting a normal battle, you will be teleported to a nearby anchor.

For all game modes in the survival guide, leaving a battle unfinished will does not consume Mining Power.

However, when doing multiple batches, the game deducts Mining Power based on how many you have completed. This shouldn't be a problem as you still get rewards from completed batches.

| How to leave the simulation universe

There are 2 ways to leave the Simulated Universe during exploration. If you choose “Farewell”, your current progress will be saved and you can continue to run the simulation later with the progress achieved.

However, if you choose “Ending and Wrapping Up”, you'll complete your reward and progress will reset, including the Blessings and Strange Objects you've collected.

Leaving while fighting

The process of leaving the battle in the Simulated Universe is the same as for any battle type. Note that retreating from the battle in the Simulated Universe will end of current run yours.

| Withdraw from the Hall of Oblivion

Retreating from battle or leaving the stage before fighting in the Hall of Oblivion will take you back to the Hall where the NPC Truster stood.

The benefits of actively withdrawing

| Saves you time

When you realize a battle is turning into a defeat, the best time to retreat is now. By withdraw early, you will save a lot of time instead of continuing to fight and end up being defeated.
